A response to Filippo Tommaso Marinetti’s 1932 Futurist Cookbook, The New Futurist Cookbook is a project and publication by Allan Wexler and Michael Yarinsky that upends the everyday ritual of dining. Through commissioned recipes, collaborations with artists, and documentation of 10 culinary performances, it transforms routine acts—eating, sitting, dining, socializing—into acts of theater that provoke larger inquiries into the unchallenged and habitual ways we use and source food. The book will be published by Lars Müller in 2027.
