The Niwa Collection aims to be a new classic. Niwa means “pure place” in Japanese for a garden. The collection is a series of studies in form, color and texture to create the perfect warm backdrop for any living space. The forms blend rectilinear and organic and break the standard shape and size constraints of a typical rug. The knotted pile is also intricately hand-carved, inspired by the raked lines in a Japanese rock garden. The pile is high and thick - perfect under your bare feet and under your head for a nap. The colors range from neutral tan and gray for a subtle touch to bold burgundy, blue, green, and mustard for a place-making accent.
